Installing MatLab on your PC

Step 1.

Sign into your MathWorks account with your @howardcc.edu email address at https://www.mathworks.com. The password was set by you when you were sent the MathWorks email, if you forgot your password you can use the forgot password feature.

Step 2.

Once signed in click on the grid looking icon in the top right.

Step 3.

Click on "MATLAB".

Step 4.

Click the "Install MATLAB on your computer" option.

Step 5.

Click "Download" to download the installer, wait for the download to finish.

Step 6.

Click the installer to launch the program.

Step 7.

Sign in with your @howardcc.edu email and your MathWorks/MatLab password used from step 1.

Step 8.

Read the license agreement, and click the box to agree if you agree. Then click "Next".

Step 9.

Select the Matlab license if prompted and click "Next".

Step 10.

It may ask for your user info, enter it in if it does and click "Next".

Step 11.

Install to the default path and click "Next".

Step 12.

It will default to installing all of MatLab. If you are only taking a Math course and not an engineering course, you can select just MatLab to save space on your computer. Click "Next" to continue.

Step 13.

Uncheck both and click "Next".

Step 14.

Click "Begin Install". The installation will begin and it may take some time to complete.
