Step 1.
Open
portal.office.com
and sign in with your HCC email address and password set in password services.
Step 2.
Click on the "App Launcher" in the upper left hand corner of the window.
Step 3.
Click on "Visio" to open the app up. If you do not see Visio listed, select the "Explore all your Apps" button to search for it.
Step 4.
With Visio open, select one of the templates at the top such as "New blank drawing", "Process Steps", "Flowchart" or any other starting point for your visual. You can also click "More Templates" to view additional templates.
Step 5.
Once you select a template, a new document will be created. At this point, you can start creating your visual.
Step 6.
By default, your document will automatically save to your HCC OneDrive with a default name. To change the file name and OneDrive save location, click the default document name at the top of the Visio window to open the window. Here, you can change the name and save location.
Step 7.
If you want to download a copy to your local computer, click on "File".
Step 8.
Click on "Save As" in the shaded area, then click on one of the download options. "Download a Copy", "Download as PDF", or "Download as Image". This will allow you to download a copy of your document.
