Access Microsoft Defender Email Quarantine

Step 1.

To access the Microsoft Defender quarantine for your HCC email, click on this link https://security.microsoft.com/quarantine.

Step 2.

You may need to enter your HCC credentials. If you do, enter your HCC email address and the password that you set in password services.

Step 3.

Select the "Email and collaboration" tab.

Step 4.

You will now see the emails placed in quarantine.

Step 5.

To select an email, check the box next to the email message.

Step 6.

With the email selected, you will be given different options for what you want to do with the message.

  • Release: This option allows you to move the email out of quarantine and into your HCC mailbox.

  • Delete messages: This option deletes the email.

  • Preview message: This option allows you to look at the full email message.

  • Block sender: If you click on the "More" tab, you will see the "Block sender" button. This allows you to permanently send any emails received from this sender directly to your junk email folder.
